Jorden Chamid
Founder & lead developer
Jorden Chamid is the founder and lead developer of Todo4you. He has been writing PHP and MySQL since 1998, has built websites and web applications professionally for over 20 years, and runs Corbata Webdevelopment in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. Todo4you grew out of his daily need - as a freelancer juggling client projects - for a project management tool that is fast, opinionated, and stays out of the way.
Jorden became interested in computers, programming, and the internet at age 12. What started as hobby projects in the late 1990s grew into a web design business in 2002, and eventually into Corbata Webdevelopment - a one-person studio that builds custom websites, web shops, and web applications without WordPress, using lightweight frameworks like CodeIgniter.
He holds diplomas in systems administration and network management, and over the years has built and maintained dozens of production sites for SMEs across the Netherlands. The decision to build Todo4you came from years of switching between Trello, Jira, Asana, Pivotal Tracker, and home-grown spreadsheets, and never quite finding a tool that was both fast enough for daily client work and structured enough to handle real engineering workflows.
When he is not coding, Jorden splits time between Amersfoort and Playa de Gandía, Spain. The name "Corbata" is Spanish for "necktie" - chosen ironically, since as a programmer he rarely wears one.
