Automations

Let your board work for you

Set up trigger-based and scheduled rules that handle repetitive tasks automatically - so your team can focus on building, not housekeeping.

Instant triggers

React the moment a ticket is created, moved, or updated - no delay.

Scheduled rules

Deadline reminders, digest emails, and stale ticket alerts run automatically.

Fully configurable

Every automation has options you can tune - days, targets, strategies.

Activity log

Every action is logged so you can see exactly what each rule has done.

Trigger-based

React instantly to board events

These automations fire the moment something happens - no waiting, no cron job.

Unassign on Done Trigger

When a ticket is moved to Done, all assignees are automatically removed.

Keeps your Done column clean. Once a ticket is finished, there is no need for anyone to stay assigned. The board updates in real-time so everyone sees the change immediately.

Auto-assign on In Progress Trigger

When someone moves a ticket to In Progress, they are automatically assigned to it.

No more forgetting to assign yourself. Pick up a ticket by dragging it to In Progress and you are instantly the owner.

Move on Checklist Complete Trigger

When every checklist item is checked off, the ticket moves to a target status.

Configuration

  • Target status - choose Review or Done as the destination column

Auto-assign by Tag Trigger

When a ticket has a specific tag, automatically assign a team member.

Configuration

  • Tag - which tag triggers the assignment
  • Assign to - the team member to assign

Works on ticket creation and when tags are changed. Great for routing bugs to QA or design tasks to a designer.

Default Assignee Trigger

When a new ticket is created with no assignees, assign someone automatically.

Configuration

  • Strategy - assign a specific member, or round-robin across all project members
  • Assign to - the member to assign (when using specific strategy)

Round-robin rotates through all project members evenly, making sure no one gets overloaded while tickets always have an owner.

Set Deadline on Move Trigger

When a ticket moves to a chosen status, automatically assign a deadline (today + N days). Skips tickets that already have a deadline.

Configuration

  • Target status - which status triggers the deadline assignment
  • Days from now - how many days from today to set as the deadline

Great for SLA workflows - move a ticket to In Progress and it automatically gets a 7-day deadline. Existing deadlines are never overwritten.

Auto-add Checklist Trigger

Automatically add predefined checklist items to a ticket. Skips tickets that already have a checklist.

Configuration

  • Trigger type - on ticket creation, on move to a specific status, or on tag assignment
  • Target status - which status triggers the checklist (when using move trigger)
  • Tag - which tag triggers the checklist (when using tag trigger)
  • Checklist items - the list of items to add, one per line

Perfect for standard workflows - add a "Design, Develop, Test, Deploy" checklist to every new ticket, or add QA steps when a ticket moves to Review.
