Trello

Import cards, lists, labels, checklists, and due dates from a Trello board export.

How to export from Trello

Open the Trello board you want to import.

Click Menu (top-right) then More, then click Print and export.

Click Export as JSON. Your browser will download a .json file.

In Todo4you, go to your project's Settings tab, scroll to Data, and upload the JSON file under Import from Trello.

Review the list-to-status mapping, adjust if needed, and click Confirm Import.

Tip: Archived cards are automatically skipped during import. Only active cards on active lists will be imported.

What gets imported

  • Card titles and descriptions (Markdown)
  • List-to-status mapping (you choose)
  • Labels as tags (auto-created with colors)
  • Due dates as ticket deadlines
  • Checklists with completion state
  • Card position preserved as sort order

Not imported

  • Comments (limited to 1000 in Trello exports)
  • Attachments (binary files, not in JSON)
  • Member assignments (different user systems)
  • Archived cards (skipped automatically)

Azure DevOps

Import work items, states, priorities, tags, and parent-child relationships from an Azure DevOps CSV export.

How to export from Azure DevOps

Open your Azure DevOps project and navigate to Boards > Queries.

Open an existing query or create a new flat-list query that returns the work items you want.

Click Column Options and add Title, State, Work Item Type, Priority, Tags, and Description.

Run the query, click the ... (actions) menu, and select Export to CSV.

In Todo4you, go to your project's Settings > Data > Azure DevOps and upload the CSV file.

Tip: The CSV export includes exactly the columns visible in your query. If a field is missing, add it via Column Options before exporting.

What gets imported

  • Work item titles and descriptions
  • State-to-status mapping (you choose)
  • Work item type (Bug, Feature, etc.)
  • Priority (1-4 mapped to Urgent/High/Medium/Low)
  • Tags (semicolon-separated, auto-created)
  • Story points / effort as ticket points (capped at 0-3)
  • Parent-child relationships (via ID and Parent columns)

Not imported

  • Comments and change history
  • Attachments (not included in CSV)
  • Assigned users (different user systems)
  • Area and iteration paths

Jira

Import issues, statuses, priorities, labels, story points, and parent-child relationships from a Jira CSV export.

How to export from Jira

In Jira, go to Filters > Search work items (or open the Issue Navigator).

Use filters or write a JQL query to select the issues you want to export.

Click the Export button (or ... menu) in the top-right corner.

Select Export CSV - all fields. A .csv file will download.

In Todo4you, go to your project's Settings > Data > Jira and upload the CSV file.

Tip: Works with both Jira Cloud (up to 10,000 issues) and Jira Server/Data Center (up to 1,000 issues per export).

What gets imported

  • Issue summaries and descriptions
  • Status-to-status mapping (you choose)
  • Issue type (Bug, Story, Task, etc.)
  • Priority (Highest to Lowest mapped automatically)
  • Labels as tags (auto-created)
  • Due dates as ticket deadlines
  • Story points as ticket points (capped at 0-3)
  • Time estimates (Original Estimate) as estimated hours
  • Parent-child relationships (via Issue key and Parent columns)

Not imported

  • Comments, attachments, and change history
  • Assignees and reporters
  • Epics and sprints
  • Custom fields

Scrumwise

Import backlog items, statuses, priorities, tags, due dates, and parent-child relationships from a Scrumwise CSV export.

How to export from Scrumwise

In Scrumwise, open the project you want to export.

Go to the Backlog view.

Click the Export button and select Export to CSV. A .csv file will download.

In Todo4you, go to your project's Settings > Data > Scrumwise and upload the CSV file.

Review the status mapping, adjust if needed, and click Confirm Import.

Tip: Only the "Name" column is required. All other columns are optional and will use sensible defaults when missing.

What gets imported

  • Item type (Bug stays Bug, rest becomes Feature)
  • Priority (Urgent, High, Medium, Low)

Asana

Import tasks, sections, tags, due dates, and parent tasks from an Asana CSV export.

How to export from Asana

In Asana, open the project you want to export.

Click the drop-down arrow next to the project name (or the ... menu).

Select Export/Print and then CSV. Asana will email you a download link.

Click the link in the email to download the .csv file.

In Todo4you, go to your project's Settings > Data > Asana and upload the CSV file.

Tip: Section header rows (ending with ":") are automatically skipped. Only actual tasks are imported.

What gets imported

  • Task names and notes (description)
  • Section-to-status mapping (you choose)
  • Tags (auto-created)
  • Due dates as ticket deadlines
  • Parent-child relationships (via Parent task column)

Not imported

  • Comments, attachments, and activity history
  • Assignees and followers
  • Subtask hierarchy
  • Custom fields, projects, and milestones
  • Priority and type (not in Asana CSV exports)

Monday.com

Import items, statuses, priorities, tags, and due dates from a Monday.com CSV export.

How to export from Monday.com

In Monday.com, open the board you want to export.

Click the three-dot menu (...) at the top-right of the board.

Select More actions and then Export board to Excel.

Open the downloaded .xlsx file and save/export it as CSV.

In Todo4you, go to your project's Settings > Data > Monday.com and upload the CSV file.

Tip: The export includes exactly the columns visible on your board. Add Status, Priority, Due Date, and Tags columns before exporting for the best results.

What gets imported

  • Item names and descriptions/notes
  • Status-to-status mapping (you choose)
  • Priority (Critical, High, Medium, Low)
  • Tags (auto-created)
  • Due dates as ticket deadlines
  • Falls back to Group column if no Status column

ClickUp

Import tasks, statuses, priorities, tags, checklists, and parent-child relationships from a ClickUp CSV export.

How to export from ClickUp

In ClickUp, open the List or Folder you want to export.

Click the ellipsis menu (...) at the top-right of the view.

Select Export and choose CSV. Pick All columns for best results.

Save the downloaded .csv file.

In Todo4you, go to your project's Settings > Data > ClickUp and upload the CSV file.

Tip: Choose "All columns" when exporting to include Status, Priority, Tags, Description, and Due Date fields automatically.

Notion

Import database items, statuses, priorities, tags, and due dates from a Notion CSV export.

How to export from Notion

In Notion, open the database you want to export.

Click the ... menu at the top-right of the database view.

Select Export and choose CSV as the format.

Notion will download a .csv file.

In Todo4you, go to your project's Settings > Data > Notion and upload the CSV file.

Tip: Notion databases have user-defined properties. The importer automatically detects common names like Status, Priority, Tags, Description, and Due Date.

What gets imported

  • Database item names and descriptions
  • Status-to-status mapping (you choose)
  • Priority (Urgent/Critical, High, Medium, Low)
  • Type detection (Bug/Defect mapped automatically)
  • Tags/Labels (multi-select values, auto-created)

Linear

Import issues, statuses, priorities, labels, and due dates from a Linear CSV export.

How to export from Linear

In Linear, open the issues view you want to export.

Click the ... menu at the top-right.

Select Export and choose CSV. A .csv file will download.

In Todo4you, go to your project's Settings > Data > Linear and upload the CSV file.

Review the status mapping, adjust if needed, and click Confirm Import.

Import rows, statuses, priorities, tags, and due dates from a Smartsheet CSV export.

How to export from Smartsheet

In Smartsheet, open the sheet you want to export.

Click File in the top menu bar.

Select Export and choose Export to CSV. A .csv file will download.

In Todo4you, go to your project's Settings > Data > Smartsheet and upload the CSV file.

Review the status mapping, adjust if needed, and click Confirm Import.

Tip: Only a "Task Name" or "Name" column is required. All other columns are optional and will use sensible defaults when missing.

Microsoft Planner

Import tasks, progress, priorities, labels, and due dates from a Microsoft Planner CSV export.

How to export from Microsoft Planner

In Microsoft Planner, open the plan you want to export.

Click the ... (more) menu at the top of the plan.

Select Export plan to CSV. A .csv file will download.

In Todo4you, go to your project's Settings > Data > Planner and upload the CSV file.

Review the status mapping, adjust if needed, and click Confirm Import.

Tip: Planner uses "Progress" (Not started, In progress, Completed) as its status field. The importer auto-maps these to Todo4you statuses.
