Todo4you is operated by Todo4you, registered in the Netherlands (KVK 39079294). This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
What we collect
- Account info - your name, email address, and password (hashed, never stored in plain text).
- Project data - tickets, comments, attachments, tags, and other content you create inside Todo4you.
- Usage data - page views and basic analytics collected via a self-hosted Corbacount instance in Germany. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking service.
- Session data - a session cookie to keep you logged in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Why we collect it
- To provide the service - you need an account to create projects and tickets.
- To send you notifications - email alerts about ticket updates, comments, and assignments you've opted into.
- To improve the product - anonymous usage statistics help us understand which features are used.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
- We do not run targeted advertising.
- We do not use your project data to train AI models or for any purpose other than providing the service to you.
Third-party services
We use a small number of third-party services to run Todo4you:
- Cloudflare Turnstile - on the contact and registration forms to prevent spam. Cloudflare's privacy policy applies to Turnstile usage.
Data storage and security
- Your data is stored on servers located in Europe (Germany and the Netherlands).
- Passwords are hashed using a strong one-way algorithm.
- All connections are encrypted via HTTPS.
- We back up data regularly and restrict access to production systems.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access your data - you can view all your data in your Todo4you account.
- Correct your data - update your name, email, and password from your profile.
- Delete your data - contact us at info@todo4you.com and we will delete your account and all associated data.
- Export your data - use the CSV export on each project to download your tickets.
Cookies
We only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the service to function:
- Session cookie - keeps you logged in. Expires when you close your browser or log out.
- CSRF cookie - protects against cross-site request forgery attacks.
We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies from third parties.
Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes, we will update this page and note the new date at the top. We will not reduce your rights without giving you notice.
