Who is Todo4you for?

- Jorden Chamid

As a freelancer, it is always hard to keep an overview of all your projects. You have to switch quickly, and messages come in via WhatsApp, email, SMS, Slack, and phone. You might be working for ten clients in a single week and still have your own side projects on top of that.

For me, it has always been a priority not to drop the ball on anything. I have used various tools for this, but none of them fully met what I needed.

That is why I have spent the past few months building my own tool:

With integrations that matter to developers - Slack, Telegram, Homey, GitHub, GitLab, Gitea, Bitbucket. With the webhooks, you can easily build your own integrations if you need something else.

But it is of course a very handy tool for non-developers too. The basics are simple: drop your ideas into the backlog as a ticket, put work that needs to be done in To do, and when you start, drag the card into "In progress". Work finished? Put it in "Review" if it still needs checking, or drag it straight to "Done" if you are sure it is right.

When you dig deeper, you start to see the extra value. Assign tickets to team members, use the checklists to make sure every step has been done. With the templates you can create, you can apply a standard checklist to your ticket in two clicks.

Use tags to indicate what the ticket is about, so your team can filter on them too. Or auto-assign a ticket to a team member whenever a particular tag is used.

Use timers to track in detail how long a ticket took to complete. Assign ticket points so an average velocity can be calculated, and Todo4you can give an estimate of when a new task will be delivered.

Turn on the experimental AI-functionalities in the project settings and get access to functionalities such as uploading an e-mail to automatically create a ticket, including descriptions and checklists. Or translate it to the language of your customer.

Turn on the documentation and create simple pages with useful info for your project.

Use webhooks to connect Todo4you to your own systems. And do you really want deep integrations? Use our API and the possibilities are endless!

The more you use, the more value you get.
